The Insurance Contracts Amendment (Unfair Terms) Bill 2013 was introduced into the House of Representatives on 26 June 2013.
On 26 June 2013 the Senate referred the Bill to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services for inquiry and report.
If Parliament does not resume and pass the Bill before the election, the Bill will lapse.
