Financial Services Licensees must notify appointments of financial advisers for the initial release of the Register of Financial Advisers to ASIC by 30 March 2015.
Financial Services Licensees can notify appointments to the Register using an online transaction available from ASIC Connect.
The details required to be notified are:
•representative details
•financial adviser details
•financial adviser authorisation details on ‘relevant financial products’ to retail clients
•employment history
•financial adviser history
•controlling entity.
