Parliament sitting dates and ministry changes

The Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet has released the Parliament sitting dates for the rest of the year. Parliament will reconvene on 30th August 2016.

The Treasury ministers have changed: while Scott Morrison remains as Treasurer, Kelly O’Dwyer becomes Minister for Revenue and Financial Services and Michael McCormack becomes Minister for Small Business.

DPMC has also released the complete new Ministry list together with the legislation for which the rearranged departments will be responsible.

The Bills that lapsed in the previous parliament include:

  • Corporations Amendment (Crowd-sourced Funding) Bill 2015
  • Corporations Amendment (Life Insurance Remuneration Arrangements) Bill 2016.

A bills list for the new Parliament has not yet been released.
