The Senate is expected to pass the Corporations Amendment (Life Insurance Remuneration Arrangements) Bill 2016 when it next sits.
The Senate Economics Legislation Committee has recommended it be passed through Parliament in its current form.
The Labor Senators made additional comments but did not dissent from the recommendation.
The provisions will commence on 1 July 2016 or the day after Royal Assent, whichever occurs later.
