Both houses of Commonwealth Parliament have adjourned and will resume on 8 February 2022, unless the election is called earlier. The Budget is scheduled for 29 March 2022.
Any bills not passed before the election is called will lapse.
Currently the bills awaiting passage include:
- Financial Accountability Regime Bill 2021
- Corporations Amendment (Meetings and Documents) Bill 2021
- National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Supporting Economic Recovery) Bill 2020
- Financial Services Compensation Scheme of Last Resort Levy Bill 2021.
