ASIC has issued an amendment to Class Order [CO 11/1340] as a result of the release of a new website for the Financial Claims Scheme.

The Class Order applies to issuers of financial products that are covered by the Financial Claims Scheme and it changes the information about the scheme that is to required to be included in disclosure documents.

The words “the APRA website at http://www.apra.gov.au and the APRA hotline on 1300 13 10 60” should be removed from PDS’s and “http://www.fcs.gov.au” should be substituted.
