Australian Parliament update

The new parliamentary sittings schedule shows that Commonwealth Parliament will resume on 26 July for 2 weeks.

It will recess from 4 August until returning on 5 September for 2 weeks and then on 25 October for the Commonwealth Budget.

A national employment summit will be held in late September or early October.

Legislation to establish a federal integrity commission will likely be introduced after the Budget in the 2 week sittings commencing on 21 November.
