The ACCC has issued criminal proceedings against Richard Pratt in the Federal Court. The matter is listed for first directions on 7 July.

ABC News reports that the matter relates to the previous ACCC v Visy action in which Visy was fined $36 million but Pratt was not personally penalised.

UPDATE: The ACCC says the action against Pratt is for allegedly providing false or misleading evidence in the course of ACCC’s investigation
into alleged cartel conduct in the corrugated fibreboard packaging
industry.
