The National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Financial Sector Reform) Regulations 2023 have been registered.
These regulations amend the National Consumer Credit Protection Regulations 2010 to further regulate small amount credit contracts and consumer leases as provided for in the Financial Sector Reform Act 2022.
The Regulations for small amount credit contracts are unchanged from the exposure draft.
