Due to COVID-19, the next sitting fortnight of the Commonwealth Parliament from 4-13 August 2020 has been cancelled.
Parliament is now scheduled to return on 24 August for 2 weeks.
Outstanding Bills include:
- Payment Times Reporting Bill 2020 which would establish a payment times reporting scheme whereby large businesses (total income exceeding $100 million for the most recent income year) and large government enterprises will be required to publicly report on their payment terms and practices for their small business suppliers;
- the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing and Other Legislation Amendment Bill;
- the National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Mandatory Credit Reporting and Other Measures) Bill 2019; andÂ
- the Currency (Restrictions on the Use of Cash) Bill.
