In conjunction with the first round of hearings starting this week the Royal Commission has published a Background Paper on Car Financing in Australia as well as an Overview of Australian Law Regulating Consumer Home Loans, Credit Cards and Car Loans.

The first case studies will deal with residential mortgages followed by car finance practices.

The second round of hearings from 16 April 2018 will focus on the financial planning and wealth management industry.
