The first tranche of submissions to the Competition Policy Review has been released.

The Review Chair, Professor Ian Harper, has released a video in which he outlines the progress of the review and discusses the submissions received to date and key issues.

With regard to financial services, the submissions of both the Customer Owned Banking Association and a Regional Bank group consisting of Bank of Queensland, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, ME Bank and Suncorp Bank have been released.

A draft report will be published in late September 2014 with a final report due in March 2015.
